What better way to move from fall to winter than a simmer pot (all while putting up Christmas decorations??)? I like to think that there are no rules for a simmer pot. If it smells good or looks pretty or is about to go bad, it’s going in my pot!

I added a few clementines and a lemon on its’ last legs, some cinnamon sticks that are probably 10 years old and some rosemary out of my garden. This made my house smell sooo good, and help out our humidifier a bit, as it has been so dry in here.
